Initially developed throughout the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, a key feature of the area is the numerous subdivisions of highly-desirable and durable block homes. Homes built from block—or concrete masonry units—are renowned for their thermal efficiency, noise mitigation, and simple elegant beauty.

Durable construction, mountain views, easy freeway access, and one of Phoenix’s largest parks are just some of the features that form the foundation of our community.

Greater Shaw Butte is an established community in Northwest Phoenix, situated between the western slope of the 2,149-foot Shaw Butte & Interstate 17—divided by Cave Creek Park—one of Phoenix’s largest.
