About
Most matters of public importance are presented or debated at meetings of various boards and commissions before those issues are adopted or voted on by Phoenix City Council.
Public meetings provide an opportunity for citizens to learn about issues or provide input and comment.
Public Meeting Monitor is a web app designed to deliver public meeting information directly to your inbox, with the goal of making citizen participation simpler and easier.
How it works
This tool checks the City of Phoenix Public Meeting Notices page for new and updated meeting information.
There are 67 regular boards and commissions. Using the form on this page, you can choose the ones you’re interested in and subscribe to receive email notices when relevant meetings are posted or updated.
The emails include basic meeting details and agenda information when available, with links back to the City’s official meeting notices.
Key details
This tool uses a separate mailing list from Shaw Butte Neighborhood Alliance. If you’d also like to receive SBNA emails, you can sign up at shawbuttephx.org.
You’ll receive your first meeting digest shortly after subscribing if any meetings matching your preferences are scheduled for the current week. After that, digests are sent on Sunday mornings.
Meeting digest emails are sent from Public Meeting Monitor at notifications@shawbuttephx.org.
Notices for special committees or one-time meetings that are not part of the 67 regular boards and commissions are sent to all subscribers by default. This helps make sure potentially relevant meetings aren’t missed simply because they don’t fall under a regular board or commission.
This tool is provided for convenience and should not be relied on to satisfy any legal notice or notification requirements. Changes to the City of Phoenix’s public meeting notice systems or processes may occasionally result in delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate information.
For matters of critical importance, users should always verify meeting notices and details directly at phoenix.gov.
