From Public Utility to Community Asset
Shaw Butte Community Garden is hidden in plain sight—a residential parcel owned by the City of Phoenix which was the site of a water well for more than 50 years.
Now decommissioned, the site represents an incredible opportunity for repurposing a publicly-owned property for the benefit of the surrounding community.
