Enhanced Crosswalk Markings 21st Ave & Cactus Rd
The City of Phoenix announced in 2026 plans to convert all marked crosswalks to high-visibility crosswalks using a ladder-style design (known technically as “transverse bars”), but we’re proud to say we requested and received these enhanced markings in 2024 at the intersection of 21st Ave & Cactus Road, where it has a direct positive impact on student safety for Shaw Butte Elementary School.
