Litter Prevention Program - First Trash Can

After noticing a high concentration of litter and debris near the intersection of 21st Avenue and Larkspur Drive, we formulated a plan to purchase and install a high-quality trash can that would be maintained by SBNA volunteers. Keyed latches were installed on the trash can and lid to prevent removal of the lid, and a small sign is mounted above the trash can to encourage community members to use the trash can courteously for ease of maintenance by volunteers.
