In 2025, Shaw Butte Neighborhood Alliance designed custom neighborhood markers. Using Phoenix Police Department Neighborhood Block Watch Grant funding, the signs were fabricated by a local sign company, and installed by neighborhood volunteers.

  • Applied for funding through Neighborhood Block Watch Grant in December 2024

Funding: Phoenix Police Department 2025 Neighborhood Block Watch Grant

Installation: Shaw Butte Neighborhood Alliance volunteers

  • Designed custom signage, obtained three competitive bids

  • Purchased appropriate sign brackets and mounting hardware as specified by City of Phoenix

  • Installed signs throughout neighborhood
